World Elephant Day Today’s word is to-do. to-ˈdo list noun [C usually singular] a list of things to do Calling the plumber is on my to-do list. Each day I try to mark off as many items on my to-do list as possible. Nebraska isn't at the top of most tourists' to-do lists. These issues may not be at the top of the new president's to-do list. I make to-do lists and wake up before my kids so I can get a jump on the day. It's on my to-do list. On the big day, do a final check of your to-do list and complete any unfinished tasks.
