توضیحات اپیزود

There are things a father carries that his children may never see.The worries he keeps to himself. The dreams he quietly puts aside. The nights he checks the bedroom doors one more time before going to sleep. The pressure of providing, protecting and trying to be strong even on the days when he doesn’t feel strong at all.In Chapter One of A Love Letter to My Children, I reflect on what becoming a father has taught me about sacrifice, time, love, responsibility and my own father. When we are children, we simply see Dad.We don’t see the man behind that word.It was only after becoming a father myself that I began to understand what my own father may have carried silently for us.And perhaps that’s one of the strange truths about fatherhood that sometimes we don’t fully understand our fathers until we begin becoming them. This is not a podcast about being the perfect father. I’m not one. It’s about being present. Making mistakes. Carrying responsibility. Loving quietly. Growing older. Watching your children grow and realising how quickly the ordinary days, the ones we barely notice while we’re living them become the memories we would give anything to experience once more.Chapter One: Every Father Dies Twice. This is the beginning of my love letter to my three children. One day, when they are older, I hope they’ll listen to these words and understand a little more about the man they simply knew as…Dad.
