توضیحات اپیزود

"Mubeena Ke Sakeena" (Mubeena or Sakeena) is the story of a child separated and then united with her parents through a kind woman. The two names of the child are a reflection of the lifelong bond between both women- the biological and the foster mother. Gurbaksh Singh Preet Lari (1895-1977) is a unique signature of Punjabi literature. He was a novelist, short story writer, prose writer and a dreamer. He was an engineering graduate from what is now known as IIT Roorkee, and a civil engineering graduate from Uni of Michigan, Ann Arbor. An idealist, he established Preet Nagar township which was equidistant from Amritsar and Lahore, and where he invited prominent writers and artists like Balraj Sahni, Nanak Singh, Sobha Singh, Faiz, Sahir, Ashq, Gargi, and Duggal to come and live and write. Preet Nagar township had a community kitchen, an activity based school, a park, and spaces for physical, artistic, political, economic activities. Preet Nagar suffered the vagaries of the winds of 1947 when most of its inhabitants migrated to Delhi and other cities. His own family returned to live there with a few other families. In 1933, he founded a journal called Preet, Lari which though struggling, is still being published. The title of this journal gave him the suffix of Preet Lari. Gurbaksh Singh wrote more than fifty books. (details from Wikipedia) 🎧 Narrated by Dr. Manpreet Sahota, this audiobook brings literature to life through compelling storytelling.
