nimkhoneh
I’m a journalist who moved from Iran to Canada in September 2023. I no longer write for a newspaper, but I still tell stories — through my own voice. In Nimkhoneh , I write and speak about migration, loneliness, resilience, and the daily lives of people like myself who are trying to rebuild themselves far from home. Immigration is often described as “hard,” but behind that word are countless stories — and I want to tell them.
